What creators disclose about AI use, and how it’s treated.
Disclosure is required
Every upload asks whether AI was used: no AI, AI-assisted (and which parts: music, vocals, lyrics, production) or fully AI-generated, plus the tool used.
No labels, no penalties
Disclosures are kept for our records and aren’t shown to listeners. AI songs aren’t hidden or ranked lower for using AI. Like every song, their reach depends on how listeners respond.
Licenses
If you used an AI tool, you must have the right to release its output commercially. Many tools only grant this on paid plans.
Voices of real people
Imitating or cloning a real artist’s voice isn’t allowed, whether or not AI was used. Reports of voice impersonation are reviewed and can lead to removal and strikes.
False disclosures
Knowingly false disclosures may lead to removal of the song and action against the account.
Records
Disclosures are stored in a structured format so they can be shared with industry partners using standard metadata formats in the future.
