Privacy Policy

What we collect

Account data: your email address, and for creators, a verified phone number (stored as a one-way hash plus the last four digits), profile details and links.

Listening data: an anonymous listener ID stored in a cookie, the songs you play, how long you listen, likes, follows, shares and link clicks. We store a one-way hash of your IP address for fraud prevention.

Payments for Pro are handled by Stripe. We don’t see or store your card details.

Why we use it

To run the service, to decide which songs reach more listeners, to show creators aggregate statistics, to prevent fraud and abuse, and to comply with the law.

What creators see

Creators see counts (for example, how many listeners clicked their Instagram). They don’t see who you are.

Sharing

We share data with service providers that help us run the service (hosting, storage, email, SMS verification, payments, audio recognition, and content checks, which see uploaded pictures, text and recordings) under contracts that limit their use of it. We don’t sell personal information.

Retention

Raw listening events are kept for a limited period and summarized into daily statistics. Records needed for copyright and safety disputes are kept longer.

Your choices

You can listen without an account. You can delete your account or ask for a copy of your data by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights.
